Weekend Reads
Personally on the weekends and I have a quite and relaxing morning I love to read through some cooking magazines. When I get a new one in the mail during the week it is something that I always look forward to during the weekend. Do I always find something.... no, but it almost without a doubt inspires me to get into the kitchen and whip an old favorite up or something completely new. Below are a list of some of my go to food magazines, either buy a copy or subscribe for a year you can't go wrong. Enjoy the reading and happy!!!

Serves: 4 - 5
Prep. Time: 30 mins Total Time: 8 hrs
INGREDIENTS
5 pounds chicken wings - wing tips removed
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons ground allspice
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon chipotle spice
½ teaspoon cayenne
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 garlic cloves - smashed into a paste
3 tablespoons olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove wing tips from chicken wing and separate the chicken wing into a drum and a flat. Place chicken wings into a large mixing bowl.
2. In a small bowl combine pepper, salt, allspice, cloves, chipotle spice, cayenne, sweet paprika, garlic paste, and olive oil into a bowl and mix until all ingredients are combined.
3. Pour the mixture onto the chicken wings and mix well with hands to ensure even distribution to all of the chicken wings. Refrigerate for a minimum of one hour or as long as overnight - the longer the wings marinate the better the flavor.
4. When ready to cook remove the wings from the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 375 F. While the oven is preheating arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet in a single layer.
5. Once the oven is up to temperature place the wings in uncovered for approximately 1 hour. The wings are best eaten hot or at room temperature.
